Osho and Become a Child Again Part 2
Innocence Earned past Osho
Editor's Note — April 2017
Since sharing this talk by Osho, we wanted to share another viewpoint. I nnocence is not something necessarily to be earned — it is the essential nature of our soul. We prefer to co-create a world in which children retain their innocence, as well as being nurtured and raised to exist responsible, empathetic beings, assisting in the creation (and maintenance) of a budding egalitarian meritocracy.
Historically, in the Evolution/Saviorship model of being, nosotros hold the words of corking Masters, Prophets and Teachers as eternal truths. Synthesizing this with the Transformation/Mastership model of existence, if the aforementioned Masters, Prophets and Teachers were to walk amongst u.s.a. today, their teachings might change/expand.
All this is said with a nod to the Human Listen System created by the Anunnaki, with its designed system of behavior intentionally created to suppress the Sovereign Integral.
Here is Osho'due south Original Talk:
Osho – So there are two types of innocence: 1 because of ignorance, some other because of sensation.
Question – Y'all said that when the school-child looks out of the window, he is in meditation. I e'er idea I was heedless when I did that, and far from meditation. Accept I been in meditation all this time without knowing?
Osho – Yep, a child is in meditation. But this meditation is because of ignorance; it will take to get. That which you have non earned cannot remain with yous. Only that which you have earned becomes yours. The child is meditative because he is ignorant. He has not many thoughts to distract. The child is meditative because naturally, wherever the mind finds pleasure, he allows the listen to move.
In fact, the child is still not function of the social club. The kid is still primitive, animal-like. Just the seed is growing. Sooner or later he will be in the society. And and so, all meditation will be lost, the innocence of childhood will exist lost. The child is in the garden of Eden just similar Adam and Eve. They will take to fall. They will have to commit sin. They volition have to be thrown into the world, because simply out of the experience of the globe a meditation arises which is seasoned, which cannot be lost.
So there are two types of innocence: one because of ignorance, another considering of awareness. Buddha is childlike, and all children are Buddha-like, but a vast difference exists. All children volition exist lost into the globe. They demand experience, they need being thrown into the earth. And through their experience if they attain to meditation, innocence and childhood again, and so nobody tin can throw them. Now it is out of experience they have learned it. Information technology is no more through ignorance, it is through their own experiencing. Now it is their own treasure.
If everything goes right, so you will become children again at the finish of your life. And that is the goal of all religions. And that is the meaning of rebirth; that is the meaning of Christian resurrection. Resurrection is non of the body, information technology is of the soul. Again one becomes similar a child; again one is innocent, but this innocence is based, rooted in feel. If you die without becoming a child again, you lot lived your life in a futile way; yous lived uselessly. You lot simply wasted the opportunity.
Y'all just recall about information technology: a child is innocent but very shallow. He has no depth. All his emotions are shallow. This moment he loves, next moment he hates. This moment he is angry, next moment he is forgiving, completely has forgotten. He lives very shallow life, uprooted — he has no depth. Depth comes through experience. A Buddha has a depth, infinite depth. On the surface just like the child, simply in the depth of his being not at all similar a child. All the experience of many lives has seasoned him. Nothing can distract him, cipher tin can destroy his innocence — goose egg, absolutely cipher. Now his innocence is so deep-rooted that storms may come — in fact, they are welcome-and the tree will not be uprooted. It will enjoy the coming of the storm. It will savour the very endeavor of the storm to uproot information technology, and when the tempest has passed, it will exist stronger for that, not weaker.
This is the difference: a childhood innocence is a gift of nature; the innocence that yous achieve through your own effort is not a gift of nature, y'all have earned information technology. And always recollect that whatever you have earned is yours. No theft is possible in existence, no robbery, no stealing. And you cannot infringe it from everyone else.
